The department has well equipped language lab for students. The department has number of books, English journals and CDs at the college library. The department has been conducting seminars, group discussions, guest lectures workshops for students. And teaching along with projectors, innovative things and using modern teaching equipment’s in optional classes.

        

The department has been giving Gold Medal and 500 cash prize to B.A. final year student who scores the highest marks in the optional English at the Vth and VIth semesters.

        

The department has organized UGC sponsored one- day and two- day state, national level Seminars, it has also conducted interview skills training programme , mock interview, inter-collegiate and college level English quiz competition.  The department will conduct in General English for coaching classes, to organize National and State Level Seminars, to introduce functional English classes and communication skills.
